Following the success of 2015, BoardPacks is delighted to announce its return to the ALFI Spring Conference, where it will participate in this year’s focus of envisioning the future perfect fund industry.
The conference, held at the European Convention Centre in Luxembourg-Kirchberg on Tuesday 8 to Wednesday 9 March, attracts some of the biggest names in financial services from across the globe. Daniel Tin, Regional Sales Manager DACH and Luxembourg, said: “The ALFI Spring Conference is one of the leading industry events, renowned not only in Europe, but in the US, Asia and the Middle East. We’re returning after a great experience last year, where we networked with more than 800 delegates from 25 countries.”
“H.E. Pierre Gramegna, Minister of Finance, will once again be delivering the dedicated Luxembourg Government address, so we’re expecting another great turnout of industry influencers and key decision makers this year; I’m very much looking forward to introducing improved meeting management and governance to even more of the world’s most innovative and well-known fund managers.”
Of particular interest this year is the FinTech sector, which will be one of the main points of discussion at the conference. “As with any emerging industry segment and disruptive technology, transparency is crucial to growing success, and so a solution such as BoardPacks could be invaluable,” said Daniel. “For me, the focus on FinTech and addressing the challenges, opportunities and practical impacts posed to industry players epitomises the importance of the three pillars of good governance that BoardPacks can help instil: accountability, security and transparency.”
Luxembourg is the leading investment fund centre in Europe, second only in the world to the United States, due to its stringent legal framework. BoardPacks is therefore proud to attend the ALFI Spring Conference with experience working with clients in the Luxembourg fund industry, demonstrating that it’s strongly positioned to ensure funds the world over are in accordance with strict information management regulations.
“BoardPacks is the only available meeting management and governance solution compliant with Luxembourg’s PSF and CSSF regulations,” explained Daniel. “This means it is officially recognised within the financial services sector as ensuring data is highly protected, yet easily accessible to board members.”
Hosted on a PSF and CSSF compliant datacentre with encryption to protect the data in transit between tablet and server, BoardPacks restricts the redistribution of board papers and ensures information is securely stored and controlled.
